DELIVERY POLICY

MicroAge Basics offers FREE, next business day delivery on *most in-stock items to customers in our local trading area. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes or outside of Canada. In event of a holiday (we observe many of the Federal and Provincial statutory holidays) your order may be delayed by a day. Although we make every effort to ensure delivery in a timely manner, orders placed from outside our local trading area are subject to extended delivery times. Please contact us if you are unsure of your delivery date.

For customers located outside our general delivery area, within Canada, we will be happy to quote shipping on an individual basis. Please contact our order desk at (519) 524-9863 for more information.

If there are road closures due to inclement weather, deliveries may be delayed to protect the safety of our drivers.

Although there is no minimum requirement, we reserve the right to group small orders to reduce handling and delivery expenses.

*Shipping and handling charges may apply to specific items in our catalogue, such as furniture. If you are unsure if these charges apply to your items, please contact us.

RETURN POLICY

If you are not satisfied with any purchase, return the goods within 30 days of purchase, except for computers, notebooks, tablets and selected technology items. Goods returned after 30 days will be subject to a restocking charge. A full refund or exchange will be issued for stock merchandise provided the goods are returned in the original purchase condition complete with all packaging, manuals, products UPC cade and warranty cards. If the goods are not in a resalable condition a restocking fee will apply. All returns must be accompanied by the original shipping/invoice document with an explanation why the product is being returned to ensure a proper credit or exchange is given.

Technology Purchases Please Note:

Due to the nature of technology products, there are limitations on their return. Before buying an product, our associates would be pleased to help you ensure that it meets your needs. Also, be sure to check your purchases for compatibility with your current system before opening the package.

1. Inkjet and laser toner cartridges must be returned in the original package and in a saleable condition or a credit note or exchange will not be issued.
2. Software is not returnable if opened due to copyright laws. Opened defective software may be exchanged for the same item only.
3. Clearance products or goods sold "as is" are not returnable.
4. Special Order products are not returnable.

Special Order Purchases

Office supplies, computer supplies and hardware, office furniture and business machines, which are not carried in stock by MicroAge basics, and which are ordered to a customer's specifications are not returnable without prior authorization. If we are allowed to return the goods back to the vendor a restocking charge will apply. Please contact MicroAge Basics regarding your specific situation.

Defective Products Return Policy

All defective products must be returned in the manufacturer's orignial packaging and include al components and other items originally packaged with the product, including all software, manuals, cables, etc. Otherwise a restocking charge will apply.

Technology Purchases Please Note:

All defective computers, peripheral computer products and business machines are contingent on the manufacturer's defective and/or replacement policies, which are subject to change without notice. Specific manufacturer's warranty and return policies are included within the box. Within the first 30 days following purchase, most defective items will be tested by MicroAge Basics and then repaired or replaced with an identical product free of charge. After that period, the manufacturer's warranty will apply. You can contact the vendor directly or we would be pleased to assist you in obtaining vendor warranty service.
